Best book to learn about '62-'65 B body chassis specifics

I'm mainly a Pontiac guy but want to build a '62-'65 b body mopar cross ram car. I know all about Pontiacs and what engine requires which cross member, trans mounts, etc., etc., but nothing about mopar cars. What would be the best book (or books?) should I buy if I want to learn about mopar b...

Is a 440/361 swap in a '65 Satellite an easy thing?

Well I didn't get the car. I will get a '64 or '65 B body at some point I would really like to have one of those year cross ram cars. Thanks for all of the replies I now know more than I did a couple of weeks ago.

Is a 440/361 swap in a '65 Satellite an easy thing?

Is a 318/440 swap also a doable thing in a '65 Plymouth b body? It occurred to me if I don't get this 361 car for some reason I might be able to find a driver 318 car and do a swap with it. Is the trans in a 318 strong enough and the rear end strong enough for a 440? Will the trans bolt up...

Is a 440/361 swap in a '65 Satellite an easy thing?

I am considering buying a '65 Satellite 361 auto trans car and have access to s good running 440 engine. Is this an easy swap or are there problems mating the trans or other issues I need to be aware of? I've swapped engines and converted autos to 4 speeds, etc. in Pontiacs but never in a Mopar.

FOR SALE Carter carburetor factory specifications book - old - $200

Price drop to $125 + shipping. I went to ebay to put this on there and there are a number of them on there from $23.93 to $300+ which I had no idea. They state weights from 8lbs. and up and most of the binders appear to be only partially filled. This one is 18 lbs. and is full.

    Stock or not?

Beautiful car! DK in the Mopar clubs but in AACA or Pontiac Oakland International the headers and valve covers either one would put the car in modified. The only deviations from stock where a car can still be stock in those venues are pretty much the paint (it can be a modern paint) and safety...

    Aluminum intake blast material?

I restore mid 50s-mid 60s dual quad setups for people and if an intake is really stained badly I double glass bead it; first with medium beads at 70psi which removes the stains and then with fine beads at 40psi which flattens any roughness the first pass left. Fresh beads leave a brite silver...

    900 RPM idle

I'm mainly an early 60s Pontiac guy but I like the Mopar Cross ram 413/426 wedge cars too. Dk where they set idle on the max wedges but Pontiac's instructions for the '62/'63 421 Super Duty cars was to set the idle at 1000rpm. Those were solid lifter dual quad 11-13cr engines in those cars...
