67 Front inner fender shield questions

Good evening Dan. Apologies for “being flakey”, but I won’t be able to grab the fender liners from you at this time. My engine builder was able to get my 440 in so all other purchases will be on the back burner for a bit. If you still have them come spring/summer timeframe I will be happy to...

    Another “Name that part”

So… I was pretty meticulous in bagging, tagging, and taking photos when I took my 66 Belvedere II apart a couple years back. However; I did miss a few things. In the photos are these two (identical) brackets I had bagged with my K-member to rad support bracket. The stamped alpha-numeric...

Cylinder Head Work Near Spokane WA?

I realize this post is years old, but I’m curious if you found a shop in the Spokane area. I’ve got a zero mile 440hp that was rebuilt over a decade ago that I want a shop to go through before I drop it in my Belvedere. Appreciate the input if you’ve got any. Thanks.

    Disc brake conversion help

This makes sense. In my head I’ve been picturing a proportioning valve as adjustable (with the knob) that is used in conjunction with a distribution block. Sounds as though I’ve been making it more complicated than it needs to be. Thanks again

    Disc brake conversion help

Thanks for the responses. For what it’s worth, I’ve scrubbed these forums until cross-eyed trying to figure this out the prop valve/distribution block requirements for my application. I’ve got the front rotors, dual (non boosted MC) and line kit installed. The only thing I’m not grasping is...

    Disc brake conversion help

67Goldie, I’m doing the same on my ‘66 Belvedere II with a non power dual master cylinder. Curious; did you add proportioning valve to your setup. I’m assuming that’s what I’m needing to do with the block shown in the pic below. I’m scrounging the forums and this seems as good as thread as...

White is definitely a considering as like you said; it’s one (of the very few) colors that pairs well with blue interior. I never understood just how important memories are until losing a close loved one. Appreciate your kind words.

You’re absolutely right. I’m going to spray the bay this winter (probably a b7 blue or a sterling grey metallic) before the engine goes in and make sure I like it. The more time I spend tearing this thing down and working on it, the more I like it

Nothing like the 68-70s but they got their own cool factor for sure. I will keep yas posted and yes; I’ve got a long road ahead but I know that’s half the fun.

First time forum guy, so I hope I’m replying and putting these pics in the right place. I know I’ll be corrected if not. Upholstery, carpet, headliner were done about 8 years ago. Dad and I de-chromed (regret) and did some bodywork and primed about 20 years ago. My plan (initially anyhow) is...
