I usually buy Wix plastic fuel filters that I like and were made in Russia but now the same part number comes in the filter is smaller and made in China. For oil filters Ive had several Bosch 3500s I bought years ago. Seem to keep the 383 alive for now. Made in USA.

My old January spd 69 RT SE had the tall bumper brackets and they were marked L and H. I just looked at my July 69 Spd car and it has two rights on it. Never noticed that.

A friend of mine fixed a 68 Bee burned worse than that and the VIN plate and keys didnt melt in the fire, the steering column and and ignition lock melted away. The car fixed up just fine after a roof skin, doors and hood.

I bought a Lares power box for my D100 when I switched from manual to power and am please with it. No leaks or problems. No experience with a Cardone. Ive resealed the top half of my factory 68 Charger box and it was fairly easy but havnt tested it yet.

I still have mine I drove on the last day of high school in 1995. Still looks the same. This was my 3rd Charger by then. 1995 to 2024 is a longer amount of time than 1969 to 1995. Eeek.

Just last May I drove our old 94 Suburban spare car to the U Pull U Pay and got $625 for it. It was rusty, moldy, seat belts wouldnt retract etc. Didnt want the liability of selling it to someone. Plus after 10 years of using it sparingly, I was tired of looking at it.

I still like and dislike about the same types of cars I always did, but lately Ive really warmed up to the 66 Coronet. Wouldnt mind owning one someday.

I left the bracket on when i did my 68s quarter. I think i remember tipping the quarter one way to get around or over it first then sliding the quarter into place everywhere else. Been a while but definately left it in place.

Weld S71? Its a modern 5 star type wheel like the Billet Specialties street lite or equivalent. I dont mind them.

My 68 had a small Palmer Dodge palm tree sticker on the lower rear valance. I dont know if that was its new or used car sale. Does anyone know if there is a list out there of cars sold at Palmer Dodge?
