Thank you! This pretty much answers my question. That 68 440 now lives in my Sport Satellite. Any clue on the 72 HP440? A google search said Newmark produced B and C Bodies. Figured a Roadrunner, Polara, or Fury would get a HP?

My thoughts was maybe the Qa1 eccentric bolts had larger washer to give more adjustment? I could be completely wrong though.

Thank you for taking the time to break that down for me. Never gotten to take one apart to see for myself. Question, if this trans came out of a B/E body, what is the difference for A-body other than shifter locations? Is there any size/length difference? Could it be put into an A-body?

I have 5 studs and 1 bolt on cylinder 3 for some reason. I took it out to try to remove header, and spilled coolant everywhere. Not sure why I'm missing a stud.
