What did you do to your Mopar today?

Found the annoying clunk in our beater Caliber. Both sway bar end links were shot. Apparently, 15 years of daily use in all weather conditions was a bit too much to ask. Just the lower end of each was like this. The upper ends were still fine.

Changed 16 plugs in a '12 Grand Cherokee 5.7. Not difficult, but a time consuming PITA.

Pics from Back in the Day

Running across this old photo of a 75-80 Dragway Mopar day reminded me of an article in the local paper last week stating that a Weis Market and associated shopping center is planned for the old drag strip property.

I bought a Shelby Charger parts car years ago without a title. I salvaged the passenger side quarter and a few other panels I needed. Then, I cut up the rest and put the pieces in the county metal recycling bins. I did make sure to remove all the VIN stampings.

    American Autowire Upgrade

You don't have to use a one-wire alternator. Just use a voltage regulator pigtail and wire the green lead to a field terminal on a regular Mopar alternator and the blue lead to ignition power and to the other field terminal. What did you do to your Mopar today?

Today, I decided to neaten things up and made a charging harness with only what I need and no extra leads that need to be taped off.

What did you do to your Mopar today?
