    318 Cam Suggestions

I spoke with summit yesterday. Based on my current setup they recommended this Cam. Have any of you ever tried this one? He said I wouldnt have to do anything to the car other than install the cam, that my particular engine, compression and current parts would all work together great.

    318 Cam Suggestions

Thanks for all the great suggestions. To answer a couple questions I guess I would like to see if I can get another 30HP or so out of it without any major work. I also know I've got a lower compression engine due to it being a 1973 so I'm just hnt sure what my best options would be. So I'm...

    318 Cam Suggestions

Hello again everyone. Still working with my 73 Roadrunner with a 318. I'm looking at upgrading the stock cam. The engine runs great, but as per most folks around here, I'd like a little more power. Right now I'm working with an almost stock engine with some bolt on upgrades. I've added...

What would you do next to this 318

HAHA. I'll bet it would. I'm thinking more along the lines of 20-30hp increase. A little more torque. $1000 budget range.

What would you do next to this 318

So this is a basically stock 318 in my 1973 Roadrunner. Lots of replacement parts but not many upgrades outside of Intake, Carb and Headman Headers. I'm not looking for a lot more power but still wish I could get a little more out of her. adding 3.55 gears made a pretty big difference. But...

Good bye highway gears. Hello 3.55

Just swapped the highway gears I had (2.73 i think it said) in my 73 RR to 3.55. I highly recommend. After reading several posts in this forum of guys who had made the swap I gotta say it made a pretty big difference. My little 318 went from a decent little cruiser to a cruiser with a little...

help with 318 headers choice / power steering in the way

I tried to find these. looks like they dont make them anymore? But I did find the Hooker Competition Headers on Summits site. Model 5901-1HKR. I wonder if theres much difference? They also have a pair of Patriot Headers, H8206-B that seems like they should fit my setup. Are patriots any good?
