Do you have a photo handy of the 60's in place YY1?
and what do you think about putting the 215/70's on the font?
So to sum up :-) ... the real question I suppose is - what is more important to the look of the charger, 60 profile or 70 profile .. as a 60 profile I can go to 235 wide and a 70...
That looks lovely Don, I think you can get away with 60's on the rear once the width is good like yours as it is a percentage but I can only get 235/60, do you think it will be enough to fill the arch?.
I can save a few euro by putting 215/70s on the front, I don't mind that I can't rotate them...
Thanks guys, i was more asking what I could fit Dako based on standard spec of my 67 with 14 inch stock rims as I don't know spacing etc, sorry i should have been clearer.
I reckon I will go for 235/60/R14 up front and 255/60R14 in the rear, cooper cobras if I can find them, with everything at...
Hey all, what do you recommend for my 14 inch rims as I have to replace the full set after a worrying blow out? Currently I have 225/70R14 but want to go as big as possible.
Can the stock shifter with the reverse release lever on the shifter be just bypassed by fitting a hurst arm or would the whole linkage as shown in that lovely photo have been upgrade/replaced? Just trying to guess what the last guy did before I get under with my new alignment knowledge and 1/4...
Thanks guys. Does this lovely hurst 4 speed arm (not comp) negate the need for the reverse lever? Just trying to understand how it all works before I start the digging as I've no experience in this area ... so far.
I have a non stock Hurst shifter in my charger, I did not install it so I don't know much about it. It is easy to hit reverse but getting tougher to get out and sometimes takes all my effort. I'm worried now I'm doing damage as I know the stock shifter has that release lever. Any ideas how to...
Excellent so it's performing properly, although not as neat looking as the Kids, I thought I might have a leak since the pressure dies off when it's not running for 30 mins or so. Good to know this is normal. Another lesson learned, feckin love this forum.
I recently fitted a pressure gauge when putting in new braided fuel lines from the pump to the carb and mounted the larger style fuel filter. I know I should be getting 5-6psi when running which I am but should this pressure bounce up and down and totally die after the engine has been off for a...
