The low/reverse band is what i would point the finger at.
Had this problem on a few trannys and every time thats what was wrong
Sometimes just needed adjustment, one time found the drum and band were metal on metal completly wiped out
That velcro idea sounds good, or maby some double sided tape on the floor stick bolth sides of the carpet to it!
Thats all I got for carpet im not a fan, Plan to rhino liner on my floor!
Just found that Hughes Performance makes a few high stall converters for the 47RH/RE.
Looks like thats the answer to my question.
Now its time to get to work on the trans itself!
