    Another interesting project, 318 magnum engine, 518 od trans, 3.73 posi rear. All modern electrics work including cruise control. Big torsion bars and sway bars, welded 2x2 subframe connectors. Now comes the fun part, fitting 2 44mm turbos.

    Well the dodge never made it there! The little \6 gave up on I81 just 7 miles from carlisle. Some luck i have haha.     The low/reverse band is what i would point the finger at. Had this problem on a few trannys and every time thats what was wrong Sometimes just needed adjustment, one time found the drum and band were metal on metal completly wiped out

    Just found that Hughes Performance makes a few high stall converters for the 47RH/RE. Looks like thats the answer to my question. Now its time to get to work on the trans itself!
