Rusty,
I used the A&A one and it works ok. My valve body is a stock unit from 69'. It is hard for me to give you a solid recommendation as I haven't put that many miles on the car yet and I have highway gears in the back (2.94), so the opportunity for part throttle downshifts doesn't happen as...
Hello all,
I have for sale what I believe is a Mopar Performance 971 Oil Pan, as it does have the part number 9718807 cast into it. The pan does have few dings from use, but besides that it is in good shape. Did have one small pinhole that was repaired by a professional welder that is pictured...
Just so this information is out there for others who need it. The original shank length (not including the flange height) is 4 3/16. The flange is about 1/4 in thick. It is a 3/8 bolt. Closest thing at the hardware store would be 4in in length a bit short, or 4.5in which may have to be cut down...
Thank you for pointing that out. With a standard pump this would more than likely be needed, but I did not have that issue with a high volume on my 383. The original shorter bolts for the standard pump were about 2.75in long, so this would make sense for that application.
Some people don't have the original bolts for reference.
And the original bolts sizes are also hard to find. You can do a search and find this as well. Also, I had to do some research and measure the rotor sizes to double check the findings the pump was a 1/4 in longer, I didn't want to just...
Hi all,
I have seen this topic come up a few times, without anyone actually answering it. Like most I don't like to spend money on expensive fasteners for basic things, like for example the oil pump bolts.
Most people know when going to the high volume pump on a Mopar Big Block you need...
As dvw said, hook your original wire to the center post via the original plug for the three post switch. That's what I did on my car and everything functions perfectly. In your 65', if it was a column shift, your reverse lights are activated by a switch in the column. You can convert it more...
I have for sale a 22 in radiator that was original to my 1966 Plymouth with a small block V8. Part number is 2582941. I pulled it to upgrade to a 26 inch radiator as the car is now big block powered. The radiator does have the Chrysler pentastar stamped into the tank so this is not a cheap...
I don't have an early b, but I was able to reuse the original rod from my single pot master on the dual I got from a 1976 dart.
I know there is an adjustable one sold, which I was going to go for, but it wouldn't have worked with my brake switch so the old one works just fine. This was a...
No problem! and that does seem close. I have heard of people using a small piece of metal to extend the factory cable to meet the throttle for a temporary fix if you wanted to do that to fire the motor. I also used a different accelerator bracket from Bouchillon Performance for my car as I was...
I got my cable from Rick Ehrenbergs ebay store (ricks-mopars). He sells a variety of the OEM style cable. I used one of his in my engine swap and it went in well. Was a little stiff till I put some miles on it but no complaints. He may have what you need. Might be worth messaging him and asking...
