The ever present mopar door handle indention...solutions?

3M panel bonding might be even better than JB Weld. It grips good.

But that’s your new door isn’t it Wayne? LOL

    Spark plugs in alum.heads

You can take this for what it’s worth - maybe not much. I use hi-temp (copper based) anti-sieze on the plugs. And I never remove a plug from a hot engine. If I want to run a compression check on a warm engine I’ll back the plugs off until lightly seated, run the engine to warm it up and then...

Bought a new M&H under dash wiring harness for my 67 Charger- Installation tips?

Usually the replacement dash harnesses require the re-use of the originally accessory harnesses - radio, heater, air conditioning, console lights, clock, tach, etc.

    Coyote vs Hurricane vs Viper

Good thing for the Viper it wasn’t one of the 540 hp hurricane RAMs.

What other hobbies do you have

I do some hand loading and target plinking. Seems I don’t get out to do enough shooting but I keep loaded up. Some day I need to retire my old RCBS and at least get a RCBS Rock Chucker. I lack enough room for a dedicated loading station so my table has to do double duty for auto work and...

    Botched Edelbrock 1407 rebuild?

Often backfiring and popping are confused for a rich condition when in fact it’s a lean condition. The lean mixture sometimes fails to ignite, or ignites weakly, and will backfire through the carb because when the intake starts to open the rush of fresh air/fuel will self-ignite in the chamber...

What's it Worth 68 Coronet R/T on eBay. YEP it's green!

Real sketchy. Not sure where the voltage regulator went. And not sure where the heater hoses are going? Looks like it might be an original AC car but none of the OE AC stuff is on the firewall. Looks like the right side of the firewall was cut away and a blank panel welded in.

WTB I am in the beginning stage of looking for a 1968 Superbee to purchase.

Well Bart, after watching the video I feel more positive about the car and looks like you did luck into a pretty good one. Looks like a good candidate for some detailing and later on some relatively minor work as you drive it and enjoy it. Good luck.

How Much Does Your B-Body Weigh?

Probably still running test wheels and stop watches for acceleration trials. The passenger had to go along to run the stop watches is my guess.

Anyone use this lisle 55600 pilot bushing remover tool?

Whining? I think you are confusing observation and hydraulics with whining. Feeling slighted are you?

    Choosing a clutch

I just ordered an 11” Mcleod Street Pro clutch with organic disc for my 66 satellite. I’m old and a fairly sedentary driver anymore so I don’t need anything more than a 400 hp rated clutch. If you have a built engine and anticipate some racing you might want to move up to the dual friction...

Anyone use this lisle 55600 pilot bushing remover tool?

Then there’s that too. I think I have heard of using bread before. If it comes to this I will probably try some assembly gel used for assembling transmissions. I have a couple of tubs of it and it’s stiffer than just chassis grease and might be more effective. But, these bushings are so thin...

Anyone use this lisle 55600 pilot bushing remover tool?

Not yet. I’ve used it on a Ford with good success but the pilot bushing on these Mopars are so thin wall that I’m not sure there is enough end area to develop enough pressure to pop it out. But I may have to try it. I’ve heard wet paper works better than grease but haven’t tried it.
