How do I get this pulley off my alternator?

Go rent a 2 finger puller from your local auto part store. I know O Reilly had mine in stock. They may just take it off for you right on the spot.

Speed shop for exhaust tubing in the Houston Texas area?

Ripleys total car care on Rayford (just east of I45) is the only shop in town who will provide you true mandrel bent exhaust. See if they can provide you what you need. You can also buy the 180deg mandrel bent tubes from summit and section them to the angles you need.

Factory original Chrysler ammeter-based Charging System and additional loading. Load placement matters!

My 12ga fusible link came in a 4ft roll, how long should I cut the link to? I saw someone on our sister site (A Bodies) mentioned 6” long but this is way too important for the survival of my car to guess.

Factory original Chrysler ammeter-based Charging System and additional loading. Load placement matters!

Is this 50 amp circuit breaker a good example of what to use when adding accessories like headlight relays, amplifier, msd, or vintage air? My car is always showing a 25% charge and after watching this video I’m 100% sure it’s because I have addons on the battery side of the ammeter. My...

    Supporting Mods for Car Stereo

I have a powermaster 90 amp alternator, it powers my vintage air, msd, and 500w 4 channel amp no sweat. I didn’t choose powermaster on purpose, it was just the one available at the time.

    Roller rockers

I installed the same rockers on my engine a few weeks ago and they were tight just like yours. I called Mancini and they instructed me to “grind a little bit off the spacers until the rockers all move freely when tightened down”. I used a belt sander and took .010” off of all of them and...

Any Custom Trunks on the forum?

a finely tuned sound system doesn’t effect the people outside of the car. With my windows rolled up and the stereo turned up about halfway you can’t even hear the music outside the car. You open the door and all of a sudden the music is in your face. Children run 1,000 watts of bass with the...

Any Custom Trunks on the forum?

A couple 10” subs tucked away in a formed box will really round out the sound. It’s nice when you hear the bass drum thump like in person or hear the actual bass in the bass guitar. I have one lousy old Rockford phosgate 10” in my 65 and it really makes Roger waters bass lines come alive.

    XM Radio, Sirius

All the channels except sports will run you About $95. All in, annually. The premium service is about $125. All in and you get every single channel they offer. All of the packages come with mobile/online streaming free. I listen to it everyday, mainly classic rock and hard rock/metal. For...

    65' coronet with a 440 22" to 26" radiator advice

I installed vintage air in my 65 Coronet this past year, 383, 9 to 1 with a comp xe284h. I went with an ECP 22” radiator, 18” 6 blade fan, 180 T stat, A-body fan shroud (classic industries ma2228), and a fan spacer from jegs. The car stays around 190 at idle (in traffic) with the a/c on...

    Shock choices

Maybe any shock between 65-76 will fit. Thanks Pnora! I’ll try those Monroe’s and if they don’t feel good I’ll try my luck and see if a later B bilstein fits.

    Shock choices

It’s a 65 coronet big block car. It seems all the shock choices I found online end at 66’. I even called bilstein and Kyb.

    Shock choices

Haha I haven’t had a set of air shocks since the 90’s. I might go with the blue Monroe’s but I was hoping someone might tell me the later b body shocks fit so I had more options.
