I prefer to keep the originals if there is any way possible to refurbish them to an acceptable appearance. Chinese repops are my last resort..future owners can repop away if they wish....
I just saw a quick vid of a regular looking manufactured floor jack that took an 18volt battery pack and lifted and lowered using a push button. Have those been made available in aluminum yet? My two aluminum jacks from Horror Freight still work great after 12-14 years.

I just purchased a Milwaukee portable battery operated compressor I now travel with. I wonder if this inflatable jack would work with it. Could be an asset during road emergencies. Not sure its max pressure , but it will do 40psi for sure.
I learned long ago with my Muncies using the newer synthetic low viscosity gear lubes with OEM type gaskets and assembly guaranteed a leaky trans. The machining of those older tranny gasket surfaces just were not designed for the thinner lubes of today.
