The rattle can stuff all seems to be lacking these days. Brush on/spray-gun paints look good and last, that's the only way to go anymore IMO.

Ya dude! Back when I was running the steelies and RWL tires. I'm always changing stuff up, plus those things were like driving on ice! I wouldn't put slappers on my car either but the fact that this meathead couldn't tell the difference between that and my maybe-a-little-low-hanging mufflers is...

Today after work I made a run to the store for supplies in the '68. Afterwards as I approached my car two guys were checking it out and I heard one of them say, "only an idiot puts slapper bars on a Mopar...." I replied, "those are my mufflers dipshit..."

Boy I sure slept on this one! Don't know how I've missed this thread Carl, looks like it's coming along nicely. Great build! Great pics from LA too! I woulda/coulda/shoulda but the fall one's pretty much always been a no-go for me, between work and grapes (which equal work lol)...

There's a member that's been a seller for quite awhile here, ''mopar mafia'' apparently from Leitchfield also...not much feedback but all positive. Same guy maybe/maybe not? In a town with just a spoonfull over 6000 people, two guys selling lots of Mopar parts seems like quite the coincidence?

Agreed! My buddy made some cradles that you put under the tires once the car is jacked up, they probably raise the car oohhh about 2 feet...not as nice as a lift of course but the car "thinks" it's sitting on it's wheels.
