I don't have anything to measure tension but it's pretty stiff.

Spring outside diameter is approximately 7/16" and the wire is approximately 1/16".

Here's another one. If you need some measurements let me know.

I have the Sniper PDM so hooking the fan up was no problem. I also bought the Standard Motor Products TX3 CTS and it's supposed to be much more accurate than the Holley one.

This is what I used on my 66 link Not sure about mounting your shroud because I bought their shroud and fan combo. Think I had to drill a couple of mounting holes om one side. Scroll down for the 3 row.

Thanks to everybody that has responded. My ignition is stock at this time but hopefully I'll try the Hyperspark in the near future. In the meantime I'll see if the starter relay will work and if not do the switch jump. Thanks again, this forum is great!

Have searched but not finding anything but connecting the 2 ign. posts on the switch and running the pink wire off of that. What did you do?

I'm in the process of installing the Sniper 2 and it calls for a clean wire that is switched and is hot while cranking. The only ones I can find are off the ignition key and they are used for other things and I'm not seeing one from the fuse box. I have the stock fuse box, key and ignition...

For anybody that is considering doing this to their car I have found a source for the switches in case you can't find them. Link is there. Four switches shipped to Georgia was $52. I ordered them just now so haven't seen them but they are the same part number, Cherry 72-40AT but Cherry has sold...

Stupid question: you added the circuit breaker but on the sketch you only have one wire, which is the out side, I think. I'm assuming there is a hot wire in? If so where would it come from? Might try to get this out if I can find the switches. Thanks in advance. Evan

I second the Retro Sound radios. I got the head unit, amp and big speakers to sit in the cargo area behind the rear buckets. Bought it and all the cables etc. from Crutchfield and had good customer service from them. I think they make a direct replacement for the radio you have.

Nitpicking but I think the handle was on the right of the steering column. Some may have migrated to the left over the years.
