SOLD '68-'69 BB HP exhaust manifolds

Nice matched pair of '69 BB HP exhaust manifolds from a '69 road runner. No cracks and the heat riser still moves freely. They've been blasted clean. The head pipe flange is still bolted to the driver's side manifold...in case you're wondering why it looks jagged. Located in Marion, SC. $300...

SOLD Original 1970 440 HP Engine/Trans (Stored since early 70's)

The only way to know for sure is to match the VIN on the oil pan rail to a known V code 6 pack car. ALL the HP/Magnum 440 engines in 1970 got the HD/six pack rods and matching damper whether they were 6 packs or 4 barrels.

    540 stroker

$6300 is a real good deal IMO. As long as the head repair was done correctly, I wouldn't be afraid of it. The stock block isn't a great idea at this power level, but on the street I bet it'll live a long time as long as you keep it from detonating. The year of the block doesn't matter as far as...

    Hemi Oil Pan Concerns

jrpontiac...Like a couple of the other guys said, the Milodon road race oil pan will probably be your easiest route. It will work w/ your existing oil system and is a heck of a lot shallower. For what you're wanting, I'd probably go that route instead of changing to an internal pickup. The...

    Hemi Oil Pan Concerns

Yes, you can pull the pan without moving the engine. Just drop the draglink out of the way. Compare the 440 source pan on the left to the deep Milodon like hemi-itis has on the right.

    Hemi Oil Pan Concerns

The external oiling system is going to limit the pans you can use. I've had good luck w/ the cheap 440 source fab'd aluminum oil pan. You just drill the hole in the side for the pickup. It's about 7" deep overall, so it may be slightly shallower than what you have now, but not much. Depending...

    Hemi vs L88

It definitely sounds like the hemi was lifting early and coasting through the traps...explains the low MPH. Below is a comment from the youtube video... just to make clear to everyone,, the superb ee is a .030 over bore, .015 stroke 11.5 compression, .480 lift at the valve Legal engine...

Need for engine limiter straps ?

That's exactly how mine is. I use a thick L bracket on one of the crossmember bolts.

    426 hemi oil leaks

A very small amount of silicone smeared around the oil drainback holes (lower corners) on the head gaskets will seal it up if you're seeing oil come from that area.

Anyone racing at Mopars at the Rock in Rockingham, NC? April 19th

I will probably be there. Hopefully w/ the cuda...probably run it on motor in the trophy street class.

Who has a fast street car?

My E body is still a street car w/ all the stock interior and body panels, except for the 'glass hood. Weighs in at close to 3900 lbs. Runs mid 9s at 140 mph naturally aspirated on pump gas and w/ nitrous it's been in the 8s at 152+ mph.

Need for engine limiter straps ?

Mine is set up like DVW's, but I only have one on the passenger's side. I have a front plate, no mid plate, and a poly trans mount. They definitely flex a lot w/o a limiter.
