    Dropped front too low

I think 1 inch would do it. I believe the spindles droppped it 2 1/2 ". Almost all of my cars are lowered. It's just something I do. Thanks for your help.

    Dropped front too low

I installed drop spindles on my '68 Charger. Cannot get full turn radious now, needs to come up about one inch. Can I adjust the torsion bars up that much? Without messing up the geometry? I went to an 8 1/2" rim, using 60 series T/A tires, and I want to keep at least 60 series on the car for...

    '68 Headlight doors

Thanks for the input. This is the way I want to go with this. As long as they can be synched exactly,it should work. There is a system using two motors, but I am thinking there would be problems with synchronizing the motors. An actuator would be more reliable,I think, in the long run.

    '68 Headlight doors

I do have the vacuum parts but they need rebuilding and from what I have seen from friends cars they don't work well. I guess,an electrically actuated door would be more reliable, and if synched well would be driven at the same rate with no lag.

    '68 Headlight doors

I want to get rid of the vacuum operated system. I have seen some alternatives, but they all seem too complicated. I have this idea of using one linear actuator connected in the center of a rod driving the doors at the same time. Has anyone seen this done? I want to stay away from using two...

    383 and 440 cranks

I didn't think it would be a candidate for street use but if you think it might be used. I will look into using it on a 440 engine I am going to rebuild. Jerry Hall brought up the idea that it could be used in a 383. I did not think the cranks would be interchangeable with a 440 crank. I'm just...

    383 and 440 cranks

Hi there, somewhere in my travels I acquired a couple of Mopar cranks in "Mopar" boxes. The 383 crank is stock and still in cosmoline. The 440 crank is very trick, lightened and shaved almost sharp,to spin more freely I suppose. I am wondering if someone could shed some light on the 440 crank...

Thanks for your comments, I am keeping the car black. We have labored getting all the lines of the car as sharp as possible. I don't know how many of you do your own body work ,but if you do, you know how important it is to keep "all" of the lines on the Charger. Some are hard to see if the car...
