I have had a 67 GTX clone for 12 years now with a 440 RB engine. The engine stamp is 02/68. My oil pressure starts at 25-30 psi on startup and gets up to 80+ when warm and running. I have been using Valvoline Hign Zinc racing oil at 20W-50. No smoke, no leaks, runs smooth.

My 67 440 GTX has too much play in the steering wheel. When going straight ahead, I can give the steering wheel about 6” of play without changing the direction of the car. On corners, I turn the wheel the same 6” and the car turns well but back-to-back curves in different directions...
I had a similar overheating problem with my 1967 RB440, A/C car with a Hemi rad. Pressure tested the rad, a small leak was found and re-soldered at the top of the rad where the neck where the neck joins it, still ran hot... 220+. Removed the water pump and replaced it with a flowkooler high...
I have a 1967 GTX convertible clone. The top is in very good condition but the plastic rear window is shot. Does anyone know if it is possible to replace that plastic window with a glass one?

Hi. Does anyone know how to remove these from the passanger side of a gtx convertible? The forward window track seems to be in the way. I have a shop manual but can’t find the removal instructions anywhere.
