    Yip, definitely contacted them. Person who has been helping me with purchase and helping me along the way said it looks like something is wrong with the shift lever. He referred it to their product support staff and so far, no resolution.

    Negative, the plate with the 6 bolts are simply a cover. There's nothing mechanical underneath it. I looked at it prior to installation. it was an alternate shift location, that would put the shifter even closer to the bench seat as well. I appreciate your response and all others weighing...
