Actually, I just ordered the 11.75" rotors from Dr Diff a couple of days ago. I am planning on going to the 15" rims. I'd like to put 15x9 rear, 15x8 front. Not 100% the 15x8 will work up front...I really don't want them to rub.
I never looked at the backside of the rims. I assumed the center bore went all the way to the back. So frustrating, yet so relieved now. I knew I was missing something!
Thanks again!
I don't understand it either! I spoke with wheel vintiques yesterday, and they told me the center bore measures 2.25". My hubs are 2.81. That doesn't fit.
Not talking about the center caps. And, if my hubs are true to the stock size, how are all of us Mopar guys getting the reproduction rims to fit? I have a hard time believing every mopar guy is taking their brand new rims to the machine shop...
Hey guys, I need some help figuring out why my '66 Coronet Deluxe 2 door sedan wheel hubs appear to be too big for Magnum 500's and Chrysler Road Wheels.
I measured mine at 2 3/4" or 71mm. I did a front disc conversion from Doctor Diff, and the hubs are the same size as the stock rear drums...
I got a set and have had zero issues. I should note that I don't have the luxury of a shop, so I've been using them on (fairly) level dirt. No cracking, so I'm happy
I recently purchased and installed some new, beefier torsion bars in my 66 Coronet. Got them from PST, and they're great! Stiffened up the ride for handling, but still a comfortable ride. I chose the 1.03".
Hey guys,
Just got a '66 Coronet Deluxe as a project for me and my son. Haven't had a MOPAR in a looong time, and I can't wait to get started. Thanks in advance for the insight/advise/help!
