Ok cool, but I'm not sure I'm following everything. So are you saying that the disk brake conversion kit I have will work with both green bearings or original type tapered bearings? If I can use either type of bearing which one of links that I posted has everything I need to replace the bearings...
Much appreciated! So if I understand correctly, the bearings that are already on the axle shafts are "Green bearings" and I can use the rear disk brake conversion kit that I have without having to get different bearings or any other parts?
Just to make sure I understand everything correctly...
This is the rear disk brake conversion kit I got.

I plan on calling asking about if any specific type of bearings are need for this kit, and just to make sure I know what I'm talking about these are axle bearings right?
So here's what the other side looks like. Like others have said, it looks like it already has the green bearings installed and the description of the bearings said they're meant to eliminate the need for the retaining plate.
Much appreciated. While I was looking at replacement bearings and looking for videos on how to take the current ones off I was able to see the difference and saw that the green type bearings are meant to eliminate the need for the retaining plate.
Much appreciated and I completely understand. The rear disk brake kit is one from JEGS and nowhere in the description of the kit does it say anything about only being compatible with a particular type of wheel bearing. I did reach out to them just to make sure and now I'm just waiting to hear...
Hey everyone, I wanted to ask about parts to the rear axle for my 67 Charger.
I'm in the process of doing a rear disk brake conversion and want to make sure I'm not missing any parts, and which parts are which so I can replace anything that needs to be replaced.
So the thing that I have my...
Much appreciated. Those bearings are what I meant by inner bearings seeing as they go inside the axle housing.
I also wanted to ask if this is a gasket that needs to be replaced? I'm pretty sure the thicker part is metal but I'm not sure about the black part.
Also I wanted to make sure that...
Hey everyone, I was hoping to lean on the expertise of people who know more about this stuff than I do once again! So I pulled one of the rear axles to start the disk brake conversion and what I'm sure is a gasket came off with it. It looks pretty brittle and while I'm pretty sure it needs to be...
I appreciate the honesty, it a long story and I won't bore you with it but the drums were taken off years ago and then stolen. As it is I might as well go with rear disk brakes.
Hey, very much appreciated! I was pretty sure what I was pointing at was the flange that I needed to measure the the outside diameter of but I wasn't sure. The picture that is linked in the kit from Jegs was kind of confusing because it tells you about the inside diameter of the rotor that needs...
