I use a Napa Gold 1085 filter with TTI headers and no adaptor. The 1085 is a bit shorter. I think the WIX number is 51085. This is on a 340 but it should be the same on a 318 I believe.

Is the white stripe on this 69 Road Runner a factory option or a personal preference by the owner?

Could also try Napa. They likely have that stuff but you might have to buy a kit.

The transmission gear needs to be clocked properly when you insert it. There's different notches in the gear housing that the clamp fits into. If the gear is, say, a 24 tooth and the housing is clocked for a 36 tooth it's possible that the speedo gear is not engaging the transmission gear.
