Hate to do this because I'll never find another one this nice, but needs prevail.
1969 Super Bee. It maintains all it's original 383 look but there is a 440 six pack stoked out to 496 producing a little over 550 HP under the hood. It's a 4-speed car.
I recently added a borgeson steering box...
I used a stock pistol grip shifter off a 833 and it worked perfect. I love it - the shifting range seemed like 6" compared to over a foot for the 833. Have pictures on a conversion I authored - look at page 2.
5.7 Hemi Engine swap on 70 RR (Project)
When I was a young puppy I worked in an engine rebuilding shop for VW. You could always tell an engine that was serviced with QS or Penns oil - they were always gummed up and dirty (didn't matter if car was services regularly). Had to put the parts in a bat for a day and then steamed cleaned...

Think I would just need hood and black wheels. Originally a 383 4 speed SB. Now has 496 stroker 6 pak. Doing a dana 60 rear, upgrading brakes from drums to power disk and installing a Borgeson ps.
Got some plates/insurance for the Dart yesterday and am going to start driving it once in a while. Will try to get a video of it in operation. This should be a fun ride - can't wait.
