1968 Dodge Dart with new everything. L023 clone
New 383 Hp motor with new 750 carb. and ignition
Rebuilt 727 Auto 3000 stall, reverse valve body
New drive shaft and new 1350 U joints
New radiator and trans cooler
Dana rear (not sure of gear ratio)
New 3" exhaust
Plumed for nitrous, but not hooked up to carb.
Rebuilt, but never driven. Still needs a few things to do, but nice car.
Just sits in the barn. Could be lots of fun for someone. Getting old - it scares me!

What makes it a clone besides the hood scoop?
Nothing! Guess the 023 is an animal of it's own.. It doesn't have a fiberglass front end and the rest of the panels were not dipped in acid to lighten the weight. It's automatic - I think all the 023 had 4 speeds. It supposedly had a 426 cross ram hemi before the 383 was installed. It does have the gas tank filler gone and doesn't have a radio or heater. To me it just has that look. You can omit if you want. Actually I think I'm going to take this off the market. I've never driven it and thought I would put it on the streets to work out any potential bugs before selling. I would hate for someone to buy this and be disappointed. I also want to shave some weight off the back tires.

I have owned 3 L023 Darts (Two were brand new)

Two were Automatics with 8 3/4 rears and 4:86 gears
One was 4 Speed with Danas and 4:88 gears

I have to check the gear ratio and report back. Took some new picture the other day.
