    You’re correct, 74 big block cars with factory TQ came with a dual snorkel air cleaner. I have a 74 satellite t that I bought new and that’s it.

    Sorry, I wasn’t clear. The pulley keeps tension (downward)on the twin belts that run from the crank up to the A/C compressor, to the alternator and has no grooves. I think the idea was since it is a long run from A/C compressor to alternator to cut down on vibration and belt hop. My concern is...

    Pertronix is the way to go.Put it in my 66 big block Dodge, when I had it. Works great easy install,very reasonable price.

    Yup,not very active,crummy gas and cronic TQ problem of filling fuel bowls are the problem. No ethenol gas available here will switch and drive it more. Thought of electric fuel pump, but not yet.Thanks for your imput much appreciated.

    Car was daily driver from 74-85. Restored it over the next three years and became a show car and good weather cruiser, has about 125K. See attached photos.
