Tilt Steering Column Question for 74RR

Easy way/expensive way. 4 pages of Kern Dog swapping to tilt. https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/threads/swapping-a-tilt-steering-column-into-a-1970-charger.307980/

Brake hoses are rubbing on the rims.

I have done the A body disc swap numerous times on pre 70 b bodies. The caliper has to mount in the rear, plus that makes room for the sway bar. Use a 73 up B body hose. It has the block to caliper mount style banjo connection. The hose sweep will touch ( just touch, not rub) the rail at full...

Tilt Steering Column Question for 74RR

Its a factory mopar column. Don't know if the turn signal switch is mopar or hybrid like the ignition switch. Same column parts as the c body tilt, which I have several of, but this bolts in a 73 up b body.

Tilt Steering Column Question for 74RR

I got the perfect tilt column for you. From a 76 B body. The factory mopar column is a hybrid GM unit. So finding the collar to remove the shifter means getting one from a similar year chevy. I'll post a picture in a bit.

Still confused on my 727 Torque Converter problem. With pictures.

Good point. Has the OP even put the converter onto the input shaft? There is a spline count difference.

Still confused on my 727 Torque Converter problem. With pictures.

90° is the newer style. The gold one, (moroso) is just a brand identifier. They may make one that is 90°, and another that is staggered, that look the same. The half moon chunk is a counter weighted flex plate. Not what you want for a 383. For reference, a picture of the new magnum style flex...

You were right the first time. Flex plate. If you have a 90° later style converter, you need a later flex plate. Early, like pictured, are offset.

Even spaced holes on the T C are normal for 91 up magnum motors. (Could be 92) If you want to use your new converter, get a later flex plate. Caution, later flex plates come zero or 360 counter weight only. You didn't specify what motor you have. Big block, but I hope not cast crank 400/440.

    How about this idea?

Now that hilarious! My wife says I should slow down, but she's been corrupted. I don't dare share a dash cam footage. Now mind you, all this with no tailgating, no cutting off. I drive so people are unaffected by my manuver. Its like I wasn't there.

    How about this idea?

No, you got it wrong. We need idiots trolling in the left lane, especially in metro areas. Here's the logic. I'm doing my best to go 15-20 over the limit by using the right lane. As I look through the left and center lane traffic and see a patrol car parked, shooting radar, I slow down. He...

Best solvent to use on carbs

I just attributed the color difference to different casting batches. Never heard of aircraft simple green, and where do you buy it? I just buy the basic crap at Wally World.
