440 motor and 727 is out of a 75 imperial and going into 67 Coronet

I have a 1967 coronet im putting a 440 into it, im wondering if HP exhaust manifolds 3751071 out of 73-74 B-body will work in 67 coronet? or should i go with headers? i was told most headers have problems fitting B bodys with big blocks is this true?
I have 67 coronet 440 automatic, i have no kick down lever for the 727, i'm wondering if i could modify a GM style kick down cable to work with it, have any of you guys done this? finding the right linkage looks like a head ache
thats about what the engine shop quoted me to rebuild my 67 383 HP but im just looking for something cheap that runs thats used not rebuilt i can throw in there for few hundred bucks for now
