My vote would be to keep the
original one and have a reputable radiator shop recore and rebuild it. I've used this service three times here in Minneapolis, and have had excellent results.
I've sold my Charger and will miss it a lot after having owned it for the past 32 years. Many thanks to all who have viewed my post and commented over the years. I'll now be leaving the B Body community but will remember you with great fondness. Be well all, and keep supporting and inspiring one...
Yes, it is. You push the grip downward to move it into drive, then allow it to pop up slightly to lock into gear. Just a different way to operate a console automatic, but better looking than the factory shifter. The two photos above show both sides of the pistol grip. As I mentioned, I didn't...

Here's a photo of my dual horns after bead blasting and before I painted them. Does anyone know what those little knobs on the horns do? They appear to be adjustable. Would this in some way adjust the tone of the horn? Have you ever tried adjusting these, and if so did it change anything (tone...
PROBLEM SOLVED Okay, you may not believe this, but it turned out to be a really simple fix. I also had been noticing a loud and continuous squeal coming from the engine as soon as I turned the a/c on. Checked my dual compressor fan belts and they were loose. Tightened them up and the problem...
