Back in the late 1990's a clerked for a municipal court judge so I could study for the bar. I wanted to work in the Bell Labs patent office (it was about a girl LOL). At any rate,I had a ringside seat for traffic court in three towns on the Jersey Shore. When the dust settles, the State Police...
Dr Arno Penzias Phd has passed on, He was known for his discovery of the source for background microwave radiation which led to the accepted "big bang" theory. I had the honor of meeting Arno during my career at Bell Labs in NJ. The radio telescope/transceiver stands outside our old lab building...
Finally buttoned everything up and went for a road test. (new role at work side tracked me). It started out needing the clutch replace (debonded after some hard use) I have a new Passon 5 speed, so I figured, this the time to upgrade. Well old cars are full of surprises. It had a #2468372 bell...
If it's the numbers matching 383, store it on an engine stand and have fun building whatever pleases you. A 440 block with a stroker kit and decent aftermarket heads will easily get you 500+ hp.

Hi folks,
I finally got around to installing my Passon 5 speed. (bought it from a member, great guy). Life got in the way until I blew the clutch . This is my 1970 RR. Taking apart something that was built/modified 20+ years ago you have to expect some surprises. It has the 130 tooth...
I went with Dakota Digital for my 1970 RR. I still have the original cluster, however the Digital solved a number of issues. If it's not an "original" car or an exact clone, new technology makes driving a 54 year old car more fun.
Glad to see the animals are recovering!!
A good friend lost his dog to antifreeze poisoning decades ago. I never forgot that lesson. All they have to do is step in it and then lick their paws. I really try to avoid doing the cooling system at home. When I have too, I put down a plastic tarp and...
