Dr Arno Penzias Phd has passed on, He was known for his discovery of the source for background microwave radiation which led to the accepted "big bang" theory. I had the honor of meeting Arno during my career at Bell Labs in NJ. The radio telescope/transceiver stands outside our old lab building as a national monument.
