I am working on a 69 Road Runner. It is stock with all matching numbers except the engine which is a 71 383. Would it be worth my time to build a motor that is dated 69 for my car. I can get a 69 HP block for $400 and rebuild it but I am not sure it is worth the effort and money. The 71 in my...
You need to remove the tac and send it in and have it rebuilt. When you do that you can specify for MSD ignition. I had mine done. These factory tacs are not very accurate. Mine is slow reacting but is within 100 rpm.
I am interested in your 68 383. I am in Idaho. How much and what condition is it in? Thx.

I have a 69 roadrunner that has a MSD 6A ignition installed that I am trying to get a factory tac to work in. I sent the tac to Performance Car graphics to have it calibrated and have a new circuit board installed. I also sent the 6A box to MSD to fix the tac output which was bad. I hooked up...
I did not use any sealant on the new sensor and I went to the battery for the ground for the ohlm check. I will check from the sensor to the motor in the morning. My gas gauge works but is an after market sending unit with the gauge reading 5/8 when the tank is full. The factory oil sensor is...
I am trying to get the original temp gauge to work in my 69 Roadrunner. I have grounded the sensor line and the gauge will peg high. I installed a new sensor and tested the ohms on it which showed ~110 ohms at start up and dropping as the engine warmed up. The gauge does not do anything when...
