    Front Disk Conversion Grabby Brakes

Nevermind they are all over Amazon. So I understand how the system works. Does that mean my pushrod probably isn't long enough since I push the brake pedal down a quite a bit before it really grabs a lot?

    Front Disk Conversion Grabby Brakes

Sorry got busy and just getting back to this. My original system was power disk and converted to the Dr Diff front disk with all the options such as proportioning block, master cylinder, and booster. I never touched the push rod though. Where do you get that tool?

    Front Disk Conversion Grabby Brakes

Can someone tell me what the brake booster push rod should be set to on a '73 Front disk brake system? I have a '69 but it's retrofitted with Dr. Diff's front disk conversion kit. It's been on a few years and this year the brakes were spongy so I bled them. The brake pedal travels quite a bit...

Best place to get small items chromed?

You can check with Ogden Chrome, they are local to me and do fantastic job. Just sit down while you are discussing pot metal rechroming pricing.

    Another hobby... Guitars!

All you right-handers making me jealous with all your different guitars. I get few choices being a lefty, tried to play right but just couldn't do it. I picked the guitar back up the end of 2019, I played a lot in high school back in the late 90's. Even had a pop-punk/Ska band for a while there...

    Engine Knock???

Me too, although I think I had the wife on board with a 496 stroker kit if the engine did fail.

    Engine Knock???

Seems to be pretty common, the factory manual has the torque value at about 22 ft lbs so it's not much. I'll probably just check them every year or so.

    Engine Knock???

Post #17, I did. I didn't think I needed to call everyone out by name. But every response whether it was for the flex plate or not is highly appreciated.

    Engine Knock???

Another case of loose flex plate bolts. They sure did cause a lot of noise for only being about a turn or two loose. Knocking is gone, I guess that 496 stroker is going to have to wait

    Engine Knock???

What am I looking for when I pull the covers? I've got the passenger side off already, didn't see anything unusual.

    Engine Knock???

I've got a knock and I have no idea where I should start troubleshooting. See video description for details. It only happens at idle and is way more pronounced when cold. Thank you for any help.

New Springs on Stealth Heads and Lifter Preload?

In my pic, I'm exactly one full turn out there. The rods are 5/16" Trickflows and are 8.45" in length. Sounds like I'll be adding a full turn the rest of my adjusters and throw her back together and see how she sounds.
