Were there different hood springs for a car with an air grabber vs a regular hood? My car had the air grabber added and the hood springs have difficulty keeping the hood up.

My air grabber was working, then not, then working, now it's not working again.
I have vacuum from the engine to the canister and from the canister to the switch. I don't have vacuum from the switch to the door actuator. Could the switch be bad? Is there something else I should be looking...
Got them working today. Checked all the grounds and the bulkhead connector. Once I reattached the bulkhead connector, they came back - and my air grabber started working again too which I found strange but I'll take it since that was going to be the next item to tackle!
Recently for no reason the front parking and side marker lights just stopped working. I checked the fuses and the wiring and all looks good. Any idea of why they would just stop working? Turn signals still work in the front.
The reverse lights on my Roar runner aren't working. First, I discovered that the car was missing the backup lamp harness, so I installed one. Still not working. I popped off the tail lenses to discover no bulbs. Installed bubs. Still not working. Cleaned bulb sockets and verified power...
My car isn't original and has an air grabber. Currently has an Edelbrock on it and I want to switch back to a Holley. What would be a good new replacement?
WANTED: 1 Holley carb list # 4734 for 1971 383 w/ manual transmission. Needing rebuild is OK but it must be complete.
