Update ! got the car in on Saturday and all that is leaking is the gasket on discharge port of the compressor. Now I just need to order the gasket. Seen a few on the net, some steel and some composite. Any preference on what gasket to use?
I installed a new under dash unit in this car about 10 years ago and it's been cold until this very hot summer. I replaced the condenser, drier ,and flushed the system when I put the R134 in it.
Got a customer with a leaking RV2 compressor and he was asking me if it would be better off in the long run to do the Sanden conversion. He is not concerned about originality he just wants cold air that will last past the next generation with his grandchildren.
