At what point did NEW lifters become junk out of the box and were.......
Had the same issue with Elgin from summit lasted 20 minutes only 2 looked like those pictured , good oil ,well lubed ,straight to 2,000rpm- HEMIB

Installing Hydroboost and bigger brakes in a 1970 Charger
Is the reservoir full ,has it got foam in it turn the steering from side to side a few times ,let it rest for a couple of hours so the foam dissipates. Are the steering pump & Hydro boost lines connected correctly .Place the return line in a container & run it there fluid coming out the return...- HEMIB

Roller rockers messed up
I had the same problem on 2 engines ended up using the Hughes rockers with no bearing nice sweep either side of centre- HEMIB

Building AC lines just got simple.
I used them on my Hemi conversion wired the Trinary switch incorrectly the pressure hit 450 PSI & blew the safety valve on the Sanden compressor hoses didn't leak 12 months in still no leaks- HEMIB
