'62 Dart - OEM Steering Wheel?

OK - Im very curious about this... I had a 62' 330 that had the "rectangular type" centre part of the wheel; and now I have a 62' 440mdl that has the same round centre piece as per this pic! I'm wondering if customers were given a choice at the time of ordering their car (lol - probably not!)...

New Vibration at 60mph on 62' Dart

Found the Culprit... Couldn't see this upon inspection yesterday, but perhaps it opened up a bit more today, and reared it's ugly head... This is a used radial with about 75% tread (just using temporarily, on the front, whilst I await my original style 28inch white walls from USA) - seems in...

New Vibration at 60mph on 62' Dart

I'll recheck them this morning... I would have thought that vibration would be evident though at lower speeds as well?

New Vibration at 60mph on 62' Dart

I believe so, but can't be 100%... I had my guy at his shop check the shaft for any excessive play etc yesterday,.and it is he who is suggesting I try slightly adjusting the pinion angle to start, but before I go to all that effort I wanted to ask on here in case it might be something else that...

New Vibration at 60mph on 62' Dart

Even though all I removed and refitted was the brackets? I forgot to mention that I had already removed and refitted them a previous time with no issues

Holley Carb 2300 2BBL Fuel Bowl slowly draining internally!?

Hey Ladd... How did you go with your carb issue? UPDATE on mine... After fitiing a brand new one, from local supplier here in Oz, I have found a similar issue... I haven't started my car for about 10 days now, and mysteriously, my bowl has completely drained... My oil seems to smell of fuel/gas...

Holley Carb 2300 2BBL Fuel Bowl slowly draining internally!?

Yes I totally understand! Hopefully I can report back ASAP about my original faulty one. On another note, Summit kindly refunded me for that carb which I was impressed with, especially being that I'm in Australia, and purchased it 6 months ago!

Holley Carb 2300 2BBL Fuel Bowl slowly draining internally!?

I have given the Carb to a specialist to test because I could not work it out... I had zero external leaks, and PV gasket was wet, and my intake was wet , so it would seem for some reason, I was unable to seal the PV after I had originally disturbed it, hopefully the carb specialist can shed a...

Pics of float level I forgot to attach to previous post! As you can see , not a lot of difference but still some fuel has dropped/ evaporated?

Holley Carb 2300 2BBL Fuel Bowl slowly draining internally!?

UPDATE! So, I couldn't figure out why the original Carb (as per the start of this thread) kept leaking past the PV and also I couldn't stop the needle/seat lock down gaskets from getting wet... After many attempts, I decided to leave that Carb alone, and have given it to specialist Carb builder...

Holley Carb 2300 2BBL Fuel Bowl slowly draining internally!?

Hmmm unfortunately I don't, but I wonder if there's a relatively inexpensive way of doing so
