I've never had an issue with fitment and never used this tool. But, I've only installed about 8-10 bushings.

I recently did this swap, The L shaped bracket with a bushing that bolts to the ear on the Transmission has a different offset for the 727. If you don't change it, The shifter linkage rod will be uneven. May not be a big deal, Just something to be aware of.

I thought HP was stamped on the lower right corner of the pad.
