Has anyone used a Edelbrock RPM Intake on a 383 with a Holley Carb while using their Stock Road Runner hood? If so, What type breather and what clearance did you have? Thank's.

Not sure if it is the same manifold, but I'm running a performer RPM with an Edelbrock 1411 carb with no problems. Never did measure the clearance though.

I use a 1.25" drop base with that setup. I think I have a 5/16" carb gasket as well. Around 7/8 - an inch of clearance if I remember correctly.

Is that a drop base and a 3" filter? Thank's for the help.

Just fyi. A Performer RPM is 1 15/16" taller than the factory cast intake.

Yes, I believe it is a drop base. It is a 3" filter pictured, but I changed it to a 2" now (no picture of it though).
