I had one, used it one time, then got rid of it as fast as I could. There is almost no airflow in them. I was painting a truck bed, and after spraying the first coat of clear, the fog was so thick I couldn’t see across the booth. Probably the dirtiest paint job too. I ended up finishing the...
Hello, I am looking for the little clip that hold on the chrome seat release knob which allows the seatback to flip forward. I can find the whole set of knobs and clips, but I really only need one of the clips..... can anyone help me out on finding this please? I have included a picture to...
I have the same tank and vent line set up on my 69 sport satellite. I have an aftermarket tank and factory vent lines that are all in good shape and hooked up correctly. My car will puke a little fuel from the vent line each time after I stop. When I stop the car and turn it off, it takes...
I put a spring in and no difference. I ordered another brake booster from the Dr……we will see if that makes a difference. Not sure what else to do. I did unhook the vacuum line from the booster and the brake pedal did not stay engaged, but I also couldn’t get it to go down as far. I will...
Thanks Mrmolding, he does have them for sale, but WOW!!! you weren’t kidding on pricey!!! I think I will try my local Ace Hardware first and see what I can find, don’t tell Galen Govier.
I was unaware that power brakes used a return spring. Mrmoulding, where
did you find a spring? It sounds like a spring might be the answer.
Yes, the brakes do apply slightly when the pedal stays down. I am not sure how a shorter rod between the pedal and the booster will help, I would...
So here is my situation and I am not sure what to do next. I have a 1969 Sport Satellite, originally manual drums, now factory 1970 b body 11” discs up front and factory 10” drums on rear. I installed a Pirate Jack’s power booster and drum/disc master cylinder and a correct proportioning...
I appreciate the responses. I may try one of those amplified antennas that stick on the window first, but if it doesn’t work it appears I at least don’t have to remove the fender. Thanks for the help
Does the fender need to be removed to add an antenna hole and antenna in a 1969 sport satellite or can it be done with everything in place? Crazy thing is I welded closed the original antenna hole thinking I would go with a hidden antenna. Turns out I cant get adequate FM reception and think I...
I’ve no experience with the Hurst in these cars, but check out the Barton shifter. I put one in my 2021 Challenger and love it! It comes with a pistol grip as well. Another huge difference was removing the Clutch delay valve…..improves the feel of the clutch dramatically. Awesome cars!
Are you looking for tinted or clear? I have a clear that maybe could be buffed out? I don’t know, never removed glass scratches before, but it definitely has some
I put an AMD rear glass in a 1969 a couple months ago……it fits fine, but as said before, contours are off. I had looked for a OE for a while and couldn’t find a tinted one anywhere. It’s the best option we have for now. Wouldn’t be too hard or costly to switch out later if you ever did find...
