The only problem with that is that people hack cars together to make them look nice on the outside and that is why I prefer to do the work myself rather that trust someone else.
Pardon me for your time but I have been searching for a 68-70 Charger for quite some time now to restore for my dad and grandfather, both of which are huge Dukes of Hazzard fans. I know the fact that taking a Charger and turning it into a "General Lee" replica is offputting to some Mopar guys...
I can't see why it would be more expensive, the cheapest chargers in my area are $15-$20k and I would just be replacing the same parts as I would be considering most of them are rust buckets.

My father has wanted a charger since he was a child but I cannot afford to buy one that's in restorable condition. My question is can you convert a satellite/coronet from 1968/69 to a charger by changing all exterior sheet metal or is there more to it? Thanks
