Pnora...Sorry I should of been more clear. Everything is set up....except the actual choke set up in the manifold well. Choke Set to the index mark...with the proper skinny spacer....on a summer time cold engine...full accelerator pedal....the choke closes....and the fast idle screw is sitting...

I have used Points/Condensers/Distributors from HalifaxHops in my 68 and 69 Charger. Both cars have performed flawlessly. Never failed me. Quick check on the Dwell/Timing early in the spring....then maybe mid summer (just because I love dealing with old stuff)...and has never needed...

Does anyone use a any sealant between the paper gasket and the intake or the valley pan and paper gasket? Like aviation sealant, or spray?

I was hoping to remove just the intake and the one paper gasket.

Pnora...can you explain a little further? I think the paper gaskets that are there are the correct ones. And I have a full set of new ones. Heat riser removed from the manifold.

I know the valley pan has been installed with a gasket sealing product....but there is no gasket sealer between the valley pan and paper gasket and then the paper gasket and the intake correct? What's the best way to cut open the existing valley pan intake crossover ports?

As GTXDan says above...use remflex. My experience...other's will leak or blow out after a short period of time.
