I have a factory A/C 1968 Coronet. My goal for the car does not include hooking up the factory A/C. I would like to remove all of the old remnants to save some weight and "clean up" the firewall. Any advice on how to clean-up the firewall without putting in a new firwall or welding on sheetmetal?

I wish I had more options for factory gauge reworks. I like the minimalistic qualities of a non-rallye 68 dash but i would like to upgrade the gauges without sacrificing the shapes.
