I keep the car windows closed and use a couple of calcium chloride moisture absorbers in the car.
It's in an unheated garage near the coast, never had mold problems.
If there is a sudden change in weather from cold to hot, if it has been freezing/near freezing, and there's warm humid air coming...
I put it in like this, carefully compressing the liner a bit, it's still a pain.
Don't know if all dashes are like this, but with my dash, the opening for the liner was taller on the left side vs the right, so that's where I put it through.
I've got this Chartreuse bottle from 1941 in my collection, the cork is in very bad condition.
Allegedly, this liqueur continues to age in the bottle.
I'm hesistant to open it because of the $$$ some of these bring on auctions, probably going to open it and drink it once the cork drops...
I'm not from France, but I've been on that stretch of highway many times with the ol' Satellite.
Can't remember ever seeing any old American car on the highway there, that's certainly one I wouldn't expect to see.
Wouldn't expect someone from NJ out there either!
And yeah the modern designs of...
I've been running Standard Blue streak points/condenser for 18 years and many miles, preventively swapped them out every year.
Had one bad condenser last year, was bad out of the box.
The car was still driveable but had random misfires at idle, cruise and acceleration.
I've also had a set of new...

New thrust bearings are not included in any kit I'm aware of, and setting old bearings too tight can cause...
Don't take them serious, don't get invested, especially at that age.
If they don't behave, leave.
''Rules for thee but not for me'', that's girls nowadays.
Not sure what it's called, but does that plastic block slide back easily?
Had that happen once, spraying some light oil around it fixed the problem for me.
I also installed these, I think they work very well.
Drilling the holes perfectly for the bushings in the rear to be able to fit was a pain indeed.
I found that after some months of driving, the holes for the bushings in the rear started to elongate, so I welded them, and the connectors worked...
It broke the plate that is embedded in the polyurethane.
Heard a ticking noise every now and then, couldn't figure out what it was, was 800 miles from home when it happened, drove it home like that.
I carry a spare rubber mount on longer trips now.
Made a stop at the Bastogne/''Battle of the Bulge'' area, on my way back from France.
Drove through the area with the Satellite, where much of the fighting took place around Bastogne, explored the woods a little and visited the 101 Airborne positions.
Fox holes:
The house on the left is...
