why not just use a oil pump primer , slowly hand turn the engine over and watch your rockers and shafts how they oil ?

Keep in mind the steel channel that holds the top 1/4 window to the roof line , sets the window door post location.

it's easy to do the conversion. The pinch welds, bends,screw holes will match up . It's just a mater of first hanging the 2dr sedan door first to have the door gaps / seals fit right. You need to be able to latch the door to the quarter jam with the 1/4 window post in the roof line ...all kind...

with how the sedan quarters look ,It looks like your missing the quarter window post area.

your biggest heat loss will be from the doors and windows. It looks like about 25% of your total wall s.f. r value will be insulated by glass and doors. i would focus on getting the overhead door r value up and the doors sealed. put a temporary styrofoam plug over the window. I foam packed...

If we are talking stock intake, No such thing as STOCK . They got cut up and modified and welded back up. Changes were made.

By referencing making changes to the factory x-ram , that was implied to Ray's own parts designs / improvements in his own parts.

You would have to look at how and why Ray Barton was making changes to the factory x-ram. I believe he redeveloped the design of that intake.

Looking for BB water pump housing # 2205862 cast iron or aluminum, that has a 1/8 npt on drivers side of housing for temp sender. A regular style sender will fit , with out the need of a 1/4 to 1/8 bushing.
