I most immediately will address this area. This is also what the Mechanic concluded, about the rocker arms possibly worn . I will also try the extra quart of oil.
Also should I add an oil-additive ? and should I be burning Premium Fuel.

I have a constant engine noise from the top end of my 67 GTX 440. Engine has 70000 miles , doesn't blow any oil.Do I need to replace the rocker arms, lifters etc...??
It almost sounds like the engine is starving for oil at times. At hi-way speed ...as I slow down to turn off hi way the engine...

have ever seen a "factory tilt-column " in these cars??
and if so, with a recall wheel mounted to it.??

MY 67 GTX HAS A" CLUNK " SOUND WHEN I START OUT..... DRIVING DOWN THE STREET.
IT SEEMS TO BE A CLUNK SOUND BETWEEN 1st AND 2nd GEARS......YET...
I was curious if nayone has Factory Shoulder Seatbelts in their older BEL/SAT.
and if you do is there a location in the roofline I would look for, to install the bolt??
