is the antenna and base 2 different pieces or do you have to buy the whole thing.I bought a 67 gtx and it's missing the antenna.

When i bought this car it was missing the antenna.I can't tell if it is broke off or you can just pull it out. I don't want to buy the whole assembly if i don't have too.I can't see any threads so i'm not sure how it attaches to the base. Anybody familiar with this? Thanks. Mike
