I carry both PBR and stiff walled bias M/T 29.5x10.5 in my trailer. PBR are definitely quicker by about a tenth. I run caltrac's with viking da rear shocks. I have to have the rebound and compression tightened up for the PBR, last several races different tracks, I have not had any traction...
Just a thought, rear tire psi has more of impact on RT. Especially bias tires with soft sidewalls, lots of motion going on before the car actually moves. Same thing with front shocks being tight or loose on extension
All of the incrementals look correct for the the ET's. so it doesn't look like you are running out of gas, misfiring, or spinning. Double check wide open throttle and timing. Maybe shift points ?? but that would not effect 60ft and those 60ft's translate to 10.50's+ so that probably not the...
I have close to the same combo, engine 493, A&A factory crossram, 2 750 carbs, .620 roller, 4.30 gear, 8" ATI converter, 29.5x10.5 slicks calvert bars. Car weight with me and 145lbs ballast= 3660lbs. This is from this past weekend at Norwalk. As said probably converter
The car should 60ft better than 1.55-1.58. That is where you need to work. With your combo that should be 1.50 or less, I suspect the converter. my 2 cents fwiw
