Last night, Neil drug me off the couch and we went out to the shop and set the joists into place. I had 7 of them and need 7 more now. Looks good and getting me pumped. I need to get the second story floor done so I can drywall the ceiling, which will allow me to finally turn on the furnace.
The only thing I could suggest is to contact Chrysler Historical, and explain the situation to them. I am not in a position to do something like you described unfortunately. I'm merely in the bowels of the ship pulling an oar.
And yes, I know we got 2 boards crooked because I screwed up a measurment. It was totally my fault and would take way too much to correct so, it's staying like that. Drywall will cover it up.
We got the last section of the outer wall done and into place. We used a laser to make sure it was lined up straight with the existing walls. I drilled through the base and into the concrete with my hammer drill. We used tapcons to secure it into place. Now we can set trusses into place.
Seems like a little too harsh of a penalty for the crime. Manslaughter carries a lesser sentence. Just my opinion, but I wasn't ripped off by this guy either.
First of the parts arrived for the stroker. I got the rods and crank today from 440 source. Rods look great. I'll post pics of the crank when I open it up.
