Scarebird (uscartool.com) B Body Part Numbers

The bracket would be different, locating the caliper inboard 1/2" for the smaller rotors. I used 73 dart stuff on my 66 coronet and 78 aspen stuff on my 66 belvedere. I looked at the scarebird stuff, but went the stock route out of pure laziness.

    Silicone Brake Fluid

Omg, I am not stating an opinion. I won't waste my time with my credentials. It permeates throughout the system. It doesn't boil off for the same reason it doesn't boil off from anti freeze. Do you even know what brake fluid is made of? I do. Polyglycols. Meaning, multiple types of xxglycol...

Who's B-body is that? Claim it! Carlisle 2025

I looked that car over as well. I really liked the hood scoop and the car over all was excellent. HOWEVER, it is hard to believe the same guy that did all those tasteful mods and color slections, mounted a gawdawful big a$$ tach in the middle of the hood. You'd have to be far sighted like Mr...

    Rebirth of my 1970 GTX!

Get close up pics of the clutch teeth, the little ring of monopoly houses on the leading edge if each gear by the slider. That is what wears, gear teeth themselves rarely are an issue. The clutch teeth and sliders are where they wear and what causes grinding and popping out of gear.

    Silicone Brake Fluid

I would disagree based on my 50 years of working on vehicles. Brake fluid by its chemical nature is hygroscopic. It absorbs moisture. You are saying that water would 'boil off', which is absurd an assumpton because the moisture has reacted with the fluid and cannot 'boil out', if it did, it...

    Silicone Brake Fluid

I am not catching what you're getting at? It's not used because the frequency of the solenoids in an ABS hydraulic unit coupled with the pump agitation, causes the fluid to foam. DOT 5.1 is also synthetic and does work with abs. Neither one works in a power steering box either, but that doesn't...

    Silicone Brake Fluid

That is correct, they do not mix. Dot 5 also does not work with abs. I just replaced everything on my 66 Coronet, stainless lines, wheel cylinders, converted to disc up front, so new calipers and also converted to power disc, so new master cylinder. Other than being very expensive, it is all...

Carlisle Tent Activities 2025 - Volunteers Needed!

He stopped by the tent and sat in his golf cart. I spoke with him for about 15-20 minutes, tripping over my tongue, really respect him and his knowledge. We talked about him and wiley filming his youtube page and just general mopar stuff. I met him when I raced in roadkill nights in 23, he...
