I actually did get one of these last week. Nice scoop solid not flimsy. He searched for the best shipping price, and actually refunded me 20+ dollars since actual shipping was less than estimated.
As soon as I get it mounted and painted I'll be posting pics.
Just PM him for a quote, he...
I'd rather not use the spacer, or change studs, I would like to switch between stock and aftermarket rims without changing studs.
I think I'll take a chance with one rim and one tire and if it works I'll buy the rest. I'll post the results in case someone else down the line comes up with...
Spacers could solve the problem if the tires were to close. Would new/longer wheel studs for the lugs need to be installed if spacers were used?
Thanks for the suggestion.
Yes Bobs car is really nice. On top of that he took the time to take a measurement for me, which is such a cool thing to do for a complete stranger.
And with his set up of an 8" rim with 4" back space and 275/60/15 tires he is at 1 1/4 from his super stock springs. He also had 1" added to...
I did PM him and its looking like it going to be close, probably too close for my comfort. I guess worse case scenario I could go with a 7" rim and smaller tire.
Thanks for the suggestion and info.
I know this has been done so many time and there is plenty of info available searching the archives, but the wheels I want are an unusual size and backspacing. I am hoping someone here can help steer me in the right direction.
After a lot of searching this site and others, the rim tire...
Here is a good and clever "how to" site on the hemi scoop cutouts from the 62 to 65 mopar website. This is for two carbs but will work with one.

Hey superstock440, I did a site search, and web search for 'Car Crazy Fiberglass" and came up with nothing. I'm also interrested in buying a 65 hemi scoop or two. Looks really nice.

Thanks for all the replies, I went with the paint stripper, came out pretty good. The two numbers that were not raised were completly filled in, and if I tried to sand or something I am pretty sure I would have removed the numbers. Got the car registered Friday and was aproved for a new title.
I have the interior out of my belvedere at the moment, and there is a 10 digit number on the rear package tray. I tried to decode it but its not a vin number.
I'll be using paint stripper this weekend and hopefully only removing paint from the tag.
Thanks for the help.

I was hoping to avoid removing the paint on the tag, but It's looking like thats what I'll have to do.
Any recomendations on a good chemical remover to remove two stage ppg? I've never stripped this kind before. Anything I should look out for in particular?
Thanks for the responses...
Hello. This is my first post to this site since being on this forum for years. Usually I find what I'm looking for by searching archives but am coming up empty this time.
I have to show the vin matching the title in order to register my 1965 Dodge Coronet 500. Can any one tell me where an...
