Thanks! I already have the retractors and correct bolts. I ordered anchors that I will weld in place when I know the correct location for the bolt hole.
I am hoping someone has their 68 Charger in bare metal and can measure the location of the outer seatbelt anchor hole on the floor/rocker panel for each side.
Did you ever het the answers you were looking for? I have a 68 Charger and 3-point belts ready to install. I need a couple things. I don't think the shoulder belt provision is in my roof. Also The new floor pan/rockers do not have the outer anchor point. I need the measurements to add it
I searched and looked through the numerous posts regarding seat belts, but I could not find pics of the mounting provisions for a 68 Charger. My car had no seat belts when I bought it. I recently removed the carpet and the replacement rockers do not have provisions for mounting the front bucket...
The 68 Charger I recently bought has no seat belts. Before I start searching for belts and hardware, I need to know what to search for. Can you folks please provide pics and details of correct belts, covers, bolts, etc. including proper installation?
It is my understanding they came standard...

This is why I love these sites. I am a member of For A-Bodies Only and For E-Bodies Only as well as most recently this one. Each group has great knowledge that I have tried to absorb over the years. Thanks to your input I have learned that I in fact do have the incorrect rear valance on my new...
well crap, this car is already full of new metal and painted. It is my first B-Body. Are you saying with 100% certainty that someone put the wrong rear valance on it? That would easily explain why I can't find 68 rear parking lamps, LOL. I don't prefer to weld up huge holes like those and...
there are two pre-made holes in the rear valance just above the exhaust tips. I know where the tail lamps and backup lamps are located. These are different. The only terminology I have seen references them as parking lamps similar to the listed parking lamps located in the front valance
The 68 Charger I bought this summer has a lot of new metal and needs a lot of various parts. I need a pair of rear parking lamps for the rear valance. I can not find them searching the internet, which seems weird. Are there no aftermarket reproductions being made?
I installed the new transmission, ran the engine up to a couple thousand RPM with no vibration then took it for a drive for about 8 miles. It has a couple minor issues I still need to address regarding throttle linkage and oil leaks, but I felt no vibration and it ran strong. Thanks for all the...
