'70 Charger 440 exhaust manifolds, gasket or no?

Thanks for the input, there's no gaskets currently and no leaks, I'll keep it this way. The factory torque spec is 30 ft/lbs which seems low but one has to think there's some engineering in sealing two parts that expand when heated. The manifold bolts came out easy and didn't strip which was nice!

'70 Charger 440 exhaust manifolds, gasket or no?

I'm resealing and changing gaskets on my 1970 440 Charger R/T to fix some oil leaks and will be removing the exhaust manifolds. My question is: do i need to use exhaust manifold gaskets or not? The Dodge manual states that no gasket is required. I don't have much experience working on old Mopars...

Screws for steering column bottom cover 1970 Charger

Can someone please post a photo or advise what these 4 screws are supposed to look like? They hold the plastic cover on under the steering column and attach to the bottom of the dashboard. Im not sure whether they are supposed to be chrome or black painted. Part number 2984719. Thank You.

Best crinkle paint for crinkle finish air cleaner

I'm looking to refinish my dual snorkel air cleaner on my 1970 Charger R/T. It has the black crinkle finish paint and some of the original paint looks like it was sprayed off with a pressure washer over the years. What have people had the most success with in refinishing these? Thanks in advance!

Beautiful car! My car sat on the lot at Chinook Chrysler until it was purchased in December 16, 1969 although its a 1970. Perhaps they knew one another? I've seen that car around town, very unique colour combination.
